Aquadoctor Leak Detection is a family owned and operated business. We have 9 years pool leak detection experience. Our lead leak technician and operations manager has extensive pool leak detection as well as pool construction experience having supervised repairs, warranty and new pool construction for over 150 new residential and commercial swimming pools builds in Florida since 2017  for the 5th largest pool builder in the state of Florida. We specialize in inground concrete pool & hot tub leak detection (and also fiberglass and vinyl liner pools) saving YOU the customer money by not having the motive or financial benefit of prescribing larger repairs our company would perform. We charge a flat rate for our service and guarantee we find the leak or we don't charge.

On the majority of leak detection jobs (these are just our stats, FYI), we can provide a solution involving an epoxy patch, isolating a plumbing line (sometimes permanent, sometimes temporary), or sealing a light conduit  which will solve the leak issue. If we do recommend a larger repair, we make no commission and because of our business model, you can be certain it is required to fix the water loss at its source. Other companies will recommend light niche replacements (bad idea- cold joint in structural gunite/cement should be avoided unless absolutely necessary, not to mention how expensive this repair is) and skimmer replacements (again, thousands to perform) because they aren't qualified to find your pools leak or they just want the commission and ability to leave the job by recommending their company perform thousands in repair work that doesn't guarantee the leak issue is even resolved. This is not necessarily a malicious practice but a shortage of qualified pool workers and especially with leak detection and pool construction experience. Our business currently has and continually strives to continue earning the customer service metric of ALL(Genuine) 5 star reviews on Google as both a pool construction manager (for lead leak technician Doug) and independent leak detection specialist. We intend to maintain this service metric and successfully locate all leaks during an inspection (flat rate for multiple service trips when applicable). We have all the best technology to detect leaks including the best on the market listening device XLT17, hydrophone, endoscopic pipe camera, and some other proprietary methods unique to Aquadoctor/Aquaman Leak Detection specific to pool leak detection and plumbing/water feature diagnosis. Our google rating is currently a 4.8 and you have to pay to get a 5.0 star rating or edit your reviews like the big boys (skimmer and light niche replacement's unlimited or whatever they're calling their local franchises these days) . There is also some shady marketing work we don't have the time or motive to participate in like some less scrupulous marketing based competitors (hint: they might be paying kickbacks to your pool service, you'll know because their company name will be on the measurement sticker they'll use). It's alright though because if you use them and then call us, we'll find what they miss and everyone will be happy. We do it all the time. Or just call us first and save time, stress and money. We are a local, family owned and operated business based in Venice. When purchasing a home with a used pool or preparing to renovate your backyard oasis, having our leak detection and inspection service performed on your pool is one of the smartest ways to ensure you know exactly what your are purchasing. Our inspection and thorough analysis of the plumbing, equipment, and structure allows you to have an experienced and professional opinion to know which repairs have been done or will be needed in the foreseeable future. The inspections we perform are far more thorough than the standard pool or home inspections as we dive the pool and check every plumbing line, valve, and piece of equipment on the pad related to water circulation/containment,  structural integrity, and operability of your pool, hot tub, and fountains. Home inspections do cover pools to a minimal degree, but are very brief and do not thoroughly inspect the structural integrity, plumbing testing, identify previous repairs and the all to frequent patches that will hold just until escrow closes. A leak detection whether buying or selling a property is an invaluable tool and pays dividends for both the buyer and seller to have a leak free test report and function test of the equipment.
